It Has Ups and Downs

Midlifemates is an ok service.  It has its ups and downs.  After I joined I filled out a questionnaire which was kind of ridiculous.  I had to fill answer all the questions which were basically asking me about my age, physical and personality requirements in a man etc.  Those question were normal but some of the questions were not.  Like “what is your mother’s favorite color”, “what is your best friend’s phone number”, and more insane questions which had nothing to do with anything.  They also need to improve the online advice feature.  I tried several times to ask for advice without any progress.  I finally received amazing advice which helped me and my boyfriend in our relationship two weeks later.  That is way too long when you are waiting for an online reply.  I don’t think this service should be rated with five stars but I also don’t think it should be rated only one.  I’m giving it two because of the great advice I got and how it helped me so much.

Do Not Join!

Joining midlifemates was without doubt the worst thing I ever did.  Right from the start, I knew there was something fishy with the way they do things.  People make mistakes.  My mistake was not looking into the details further and signing up even though I had a bad feeling.  The first date I went on went well but all the dates since then were HORRIBLE.  They even set me up with a woman 30 years older than me who had been divorced twice.  At least 85% of the women they set me up with were really nice women but were not at all what I’m looking for.  I understand that their work needs serious improvement but they still try which is why I asked for a 50% refund instead of a full refund.  Even that, they couldn’t do.  All they do is ignore my calls and emails which makes me furious.  I’m starting to give up on fighting for my money but I want as many people as possible to know about this ridiculous excuse for a dating service.
